How it works
FOUR STEPS,
Tell us what you want
Fill in the form or send a WhatsApp. Rough dates and a rough idea is plenty — we will ask the right questions from there.
Get a costed itinerary
A guide builds you a day-by-day plan with itemised pricing, usually within 24 hours. Change it as often as you like.
Hold it with $200
A $200 deposit per person locks your dates, permits and crew. Flexible if your plans move.
Pay the balance on arrival
Settle up in Arusha in USD cash or by card when you land. Nothing large leaves your account before you have met us.
Tell us about your trip
Prefer to talk?
Most of our bookings start as a WhatsApp conversation. No form, no call centre — you are messaging the people who run the trips.
Deposit & cancellation
- $200 per person reserves your dates and permits
- Balance payable on arrival in Arusha
- Date changes carried across if you tell us early
- No charge for amending before you pay the balance
Before you ask
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
How far ahead should I book?
For June to October, six to nine months is sensible — the good camps fill first. For other months, two to three months is plenty. We have put trips together in under a fortnight.
Can I change my itinerary after booking?
Yes, freely, right up until you pay the balance. Adding days, swapping a park or upgrading lodges is all straightforward.
Do you take card payments?
Yes, for both the deposit and the balance. Card payments carry the bank’s processing fee, which we show you up front. USD cash avoids it entirely.
What insurance do I need?
Travel insurance is mandatory for Tanzania. For Kilimanjaro it must explicitly cover trekking to 6,000m and helicopter evacuation — many standard policies stop at 4,000m.
No obligation
ASK US ANYTHING.
Even if you are a year out and just testing the water, message us. We would rather answer twenty questions now than have you book the wrong route.
